De Baron Resort, Kuah

The hotel presents a frustrating experience overall. While it has some decent outdoor facilities, including a kid's playground and a sea-facing walkway, the rooms I stayed in were poorly maintained and showed signs of neglect. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, with visible mold and unpleasant odors, which is unfortunate given the reasonable price. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking for a comfortable stay.

I had an average stay at the hotel. While the location was convenient with a beautiful view and great amenities for kids, the service left a lot to be desired, and the standard rooms were uncomfortable. The upgrade to a deluxe room improved our experience significantly, but overall, it felt like the hotel could benefit from better training for its staff.
